Stop overpaying for restaurant supplies
CostPal uses AI to normalize vendor price lists, match items across suppliers, and automatically surface your best price every week — so your team never leaves money on the table.
No credit card required. Free during beta.
Sound familiar?
Restaurant operators waste hours every week on manual price comparisons — and still make suboptimal buying decisions.
Vendor quotes are chaos
Every supplier sends prices in a different format — different units, abbreviations, and item names. Comparing them manually takes hours and introduces errors.
You're buying blind
Without a unified view across vendors, you can't know if you're getting the best deal. Small overcharges on dozens of items compound fast.
Price creep goes undetected
Vendors quietly raise prices a few percent each month. By the time it shows up on your P&L, you've already overpaid for weeks.
How CostPal works
Three steps to a smarter order guide, every week.
Upload your vendor price lists
Send us your vendor quotes in any format — Excel, PDF, email attachments. CostPal accepts them all. No reformatting required.
AI normalizes and matches everything
Our AI identifies every item across all your vendors, normalizes units (lbs vs kg, case vs each), and builds a clean unified catalog — even when vendors call the same item by different names.
Get your optimized order guide
Every week, CostPal generates an order guide routing each item to your cheapest qualified vendor — with full price history and trend tracking so you can spot and push back on price creep.
Everything your purchasing team needs
Built for multi-unit restaurant groups, from fast-casual to fine dining.
AI item matching
Automatically matches "whole chicken" to "Chicken WHL FRZN" across vendors, even with inconsistent naming and SKUs.

Frequently asked questions
- What types of restaurants does CostPal work for?
- CostPal is designed for any food-service operator who buys from multiple vendors — from single-location restaurants to large multi-unit groups. It works particularly well for operations with 3 or more active suppliers.
- How does CostPal handle different pack sizes and units?
- Our AI normalizes all prices to a common unit (e.g., price per pound or per each) before comparing. A 40 lb case from one vendor is correctly compared to a 5 lb bag from another — automatically.
- What file formats do you accept?
- We accept Excel (.xlsx, .xls), PDF, CSV, and most common vendor export formats. If your vendor sends something unusual, our team will help get it set up.
- Is my vendor pricing data secure?
- Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in isolated per-organization databases, and never shared with other customers or used to train external models.
- When will CostPal launch?
- We're currently onboarding early access partners and expect a full public launch in Q3 2026. Join the waitlist to get priority access and help shape the product.
